Archive for the ‘Sites Sighted’ CategoryIf you were wondering what Moblogging is all about, then check out this site called http://yapeus.com/. Here you can host a moblog. It’s all in Japanese which means that the visitors are from Japan which means you are going to see what kind of pictures people take in Japan from there cell phones. Fun Stuff! As I was looking around at diferent moblogs, I found this site that was put together by, I guess, students at Kitakyushu University. They write to each other and keep in touch. I wonder if students would like to join me on this site (WNJ). I’ll get my picture phone to start working, and then maybe I will ask if others would like to post their thoughts here. Check out the site. From the Kobe University library, these recordings are of the train announcements just after the earthquake. You can listen to all the various trains as they restarted service after the quake. Hmm. Thought it was pretty interesting and you might like it. Not too much time today but I thought I would at least post a link for something to read. Ehow.com a site to learn how to do everything. Over 15,000 tips and “how tos.” Fun stuff. I’m frantically trying to get my site to be XHTML and CSS2 compliant but am having trouble right now incorporating my blog into the whole thing. Seems the Moveable Type tags aren’t working now. What’s next. I really want to get back to studying so I can start working again. Sorry to those who have contacted me for work. I will be back in the next few months. Just put your cursor over a word and it is automatically translated into Japanese. WOW! How did he do that? I am wondering if this site is updated daily. This is a great way for Japanese and others to get the headlines of news stories around the world in their native language. The site is available English to Japanese, English to Spanish, Japanese to English, Chinese to English. Mr. Rudick also makes available ways to learn Japanese including a Word List function that automatically stores words you would like to study later by only clicking on them. Nice touch. You can visit his site by clicking here. Came across this site today. WOW. Sooo many galleries and a great forum. Anyone interested in learning more about 3D definitely should check this site out. I couldn’t stop clicking on the links in the gallery section. Most of the studying I do comes from reading posts on the discussion forums. When I am really stumped I post a question. The only problem with forums id that if you can’t get an answer to your question right away, unless it is a very active board. The I prefer to use IRC. Side note: Today we are off to Shiawase no mura. |
