If you keep up with th Wedding gig, you might be able to quit your day job soon.

Used to be that way, not anymore. Most priests are only making between 15 and 30 thousand a day on the weekends only. Some are out there making 500,000 yen salaries in some months but not on a consistent basis making it hard to quit your day job. You end up just working seven days a week and learning to take time off whenever you can. Helps you save money that way.
