Good cast. much better these days. The shochu out rantings cast are funny but these are interesting. You are now 85% Japanese, when all you say about the weather is , sugoi hot ne, kobe hotsuii, Osaka mo, SUGoii hotsuii. Ashita wa? moto hotsuii! Yeah, life of a saleman in Japanese sucks!!. Brother(dash)in(dash)law is one, the company owns you and your chestnuts Marching band teckno music, that was kind of cool. I need to come up with some for a work project. I may need to confer with U on somethings along that line and sound. You should put Tomoko san on the mike more from time to time. Maybe she should do the weather report in Japanese you can translate. Your will be the easy part: Shochu, I got some rice shochu last night, Yeah I know, but it say made from rice, does not taste like Sakai. I made my own chuhi. Oh hell yeah yummmmmmmmmy. Expensive though, but I think I paid mostly fro the nice ceramic jar with I will use from now on to store cheap boxed Shochu in, kind of like Mikeee bottle in Kobe. Orbs are not spirits, they are dimentional travelling aliens caught inbetween shifts.

Thanks Zen! Great comments! They really help me. I will definitely try to keep up the format as well as add more like I used to. Need to do more of the outside interviews and on the road stuff. Remember “Fly on the wall.” Rice shochu is distilled rice and is very common, almost indigenous for, lack of a better word at the moment, in Kumamoto; somewhat light. Soba shochu (clay brown bottle. Easy to spot) is similar in my opinion. Tomoko on Gaijin-in-Japan…hmmmm…she’s dangerous. If she starts speaking in Japanese she’ll probably put subliminal messages in what she says warning other Japanese that foreigners are not as they appear in movies.

Nice podcast. Really hit home. Wonder where you got some of your references. Hmmmmm. As I emailed you before. I do love Japan, and really couldn’t see myself going back to America and being happy. My side work and music projects have been coming around. Just gotta keep from injurying myself in the kitchen. Maybe I’ll come by this week and we can do a podcast. I’ll talk about my two experiences riding in Japanese ambulances.

Good Podcast. I am always a bit behind. Having Tomoko on was great, broke things up. The story of the salesman is so true. I see it all the time at work, lucky I am gaijin so it is all good. You must be logged in to post a comment. |
