Gaijin-in-JapanBlogging direct from Kobe, Japan
Gaijin isn't a bad word. There just isn't any
other word to describe us. And besides, I'm different and I like it that way. Why else would I decide to leave San Francisco and live here forever? So that I can eat good food? Maybe. |

Drink of choice: a dry chu hai or chardonnay wine spritzer. The wife and I are gonna make yakitori, turn on the air con and grill on the electric teppan with the fan blowing out the smoke while still sweating. Even cool jazz can’t make this any better. These are the days I wish I were back in Cali…well…not really. IMAGE: From our balcony overlooking Mikage and Kobe.
