Gaijin isn't a bad word. There just isn't any
other word to describe us. And besides, I'm
different and I like it that way. Why else would
I decide to leave San Francisco and live here
forever? So that I can eat good food? Maybe.

  • Mike : Loos as though I have gone a month without putting up a podcast. I'll have to think of an easier way to get them done faster. I just don't have the hours to put into them.
  • Mike : Hi Sluggo! How's things?
  • Mike : Yeah baby! Tequila and shocha. That's getting hairy. You must have been dancing.
  • Zen : Last night's Zen's fuzzy Chuhai: 2 parts Shochu, 1 part tequila, 1 necturine, 1 part OJ ( with pulp), 2 part ice. Blend, drink slowly...yeah baby yeah
  • Zen : Yo, Spanky what's up? Why don't you join us sometime on Thurs. in SL!

  • Zen : Ha, maybe it is, so what it was still good
  • Mike : Great Zen. I've never had a peach chuhai. Hmmmm. Shochu and peaches. I don't know. Sounds kinda sissy.

  • Zen : I had some nicely chilled undiluted Shochu yesterday. The rice kind, it was good to sip...I also had a home made chuahai... fresh peach, shochu, OJ and shot of tequila with crushed ice...Sugoii Oshii!!

  • Mike : I'm waiting for Freakshow to approve Podcast #90...interview.

  • Anoner : For the next person for the banner.. I think that the Iron Chef Morimoto would be interesting to have. He had brought together both Japan and America by way of food, books, and culture. And, personally, it seems like that is what 'gaijin-in-japa n' is about; showing what Japan and America have that is both the same and different.

If you are saying I should question my curiosity to a greater degree before writing, I would have to say, it's my journal. I write my thoughts. If you are asking me not to make hasty judgements, I would say, you're probably right. I should live here longer. Thanks for the comment.

  • Mike : Yeah zen. It was good fun seeing you in SL. Pretty playing sitar, drums and shakuhachi. We should put together an SL concert. I made a nice amphitheater in OL today. Oh and I found a nice place for you to meditate on the top of the hill with a view of the ocean and sunset.
  • Mike : Hi guys. Yeah I know. I have to find the iTunes Feed ID again. I don't know where it is. The upgrade kinda screwed things up. It works in the player on the left though.

  • Vecko : acutally when i wasn't logged in i couldn't listen to the whole thing but after the log in it played the whole thing on the podcast player...

  • Mike : Seems when I upgraded the site and Podpress plugin I lost the feed and iTunes feed ID. I'm looking into it. Meanwhile the podcasts are available in the left hand podcast feed player. Thanks for the heads up.
