Gaijin-in-JapanBlogging direct from Kobe, Japan
Gaijin isn't a bad word. There just isn't any
other word to describe us. And besides, I'm different and I like it that way. Why else would I decide to leave San Francisco and live here forever? So that I can eat good food? Maybe. |

No, I’m not gay. I just love the guy. He says it straight. The other softies just try to make everything exactly the way it is in America;cushy. Well, it is cushy. Come on. No one has to leave America because it basically has everything a person could want–hold on. My Ozzie and English friends are probably grumbling, but hold on. Look, America is a huge island with most every climate abailable within a few hours. I personally could go to the beach in the morning and the snow skiing at night in California. Actually, if I really wanted to push it I could stop by Disneyland and fit in a couple a Space Mountains. Now who would want to leave that. Here?s where my Ozzie friends understand me. We can?t say what we really think. I mean, Americans have got to be the nicest people, as far as, not wanting to hurt anyone other than with a gun. Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson (II) are exactly what I am talking about on American Idol. Randy sometimes wraps his dogpound around a pole and speaks the truth but Paula plays the mother hound. Simon on the other hand lays it straight. Look, these people are competing to be freaking stars. BIG STARS. I?m not going to do any research because I don?t want to know who won last year (I?m watching religiously every weekend on reruns). I hated Simon but now I respect him. Just had to say that.
