Tree Syntax of Natural Language

Cornell offers this interesting paper which describes the tagging system for reading syntactic trees or parse trees. If you would like to understand every word of a sentence and see how they are connected, then syntactic trees are for you. I do not believe that understanding the syntax of a sentence to this degree is in anyway necessary in learning to speak the English language, but I do find it interesting.
