Gaijin-in-JapanBlogging direct from Kobe, Japan
Gaijin isn't a bad word. There just isn't any
other word to describe us. And besides, I'm different and I like it that way. Why else would I decide to leave San Francisco and live here forever? So that I can eat good food? Maybe. |

Hot Summer Fun
Down the street from our apartment is a foot soaking “onsen.” I don’t know what you call them. This one costs 5 yen (4 cents) and you can put your feet in the water as long as would like to. There are a couple benches on either side of the trench to the left of the little house. The last time Tomoko went there they served cheese. Hmmmm. I don’t understand. Comments are closed. |
