MM's Birthday

Happy Birthday to me….

It’s that day again. According to numerology:

Birthday on the 27thYour birth on the 27th day of the month (9 energy) adds a tone of selflessness and humanitarianism to your life path. Certainly, you are one who can work very well with people, but at the same time you need a good bit of time to be by your self to rest and meditate. Regardless of your life path number, there is a very humanistic and philanthropic approach in most of things that you do. This birthday helps you be broadminded, tolerant, generous and very cooperative. You are the type of person who uses persuasion rather than force to achieve your ends. You tend to be very sensitive to others’ needs and feelings, and you able to give much in the way of friendship without expecting a lot in return. http://www.astrology-numerology.com/num-birthdays.html

Doesn’t that make me feel good. Well, it’s my birthday so I deserve a little ecouragement. I don’t feel much older but every year I think of the day I was sitting in the back seat of the car when I was 15. I was thinking about what my life would be like when I turned 30. I was 30 in 2000. Can figure out how old I am? Anyway, I though we would be flying instead of driving, you know, the Jetsons. I hadn’t a clue I would be in Japan, wow! Also never thought I would be talking on one of those Star Trek phones or writing to you on my calculator. It’s been fun. Can wait to see what the next 30 years will be like. I think, again, we will be flying instead of driving. Actually, I think we will be transported like Star Trek. If we can break down DNA and then clone, what’s to say we can’t send the information to a robot and have it put together the DNA strain and reconstruct the organism with a computational speed in teraflops. Uhhhh..yeah. Well…. That was deep, “philanthropic.”

How do you say “Happy Birthday” in Japanese?

Mike on October 6th, 2003 at 11:24 pm

Thanks for writing.

Happy Birthday in Japanese is

おたんじょうびおめでとうございます

お誕生日おめでとうございます

otanjobi omedeto gozaimasu

The first line is hiragana only, second line is kanji and hiragana, third line is romanji.

Take care,
Mike
